Barker Company Hires Manager for Centerville Plant
November 20, 1998
Keosauqua, Iowa - Barker Company has appointed Dick Dietzman as the plant
manager for the new Barker factory in Centerville, IA.
Dietzman has been with Barker Company since 1992. He has
worked as an assembly worker, lead supervisor, in parts procurement and most recently as a
line supervisor. Prior to working at Barker, Dietzman farmed with his family and was
employed by Iowa-Missouri Hybrids for 13 years. He received his associate degree in
Agricultural Marketing from Muscatine Community College.
His new responsibilities will include the organization and
remodeling of the new plant, hiring and training new employees, and overseeing production
at the Centerville site.
Dietzman is a long time resident of Van Buren and a High
School graduate of Van Buren High School. He and his wife Patty have one daughter,
Lindsey, who is a sophomore at Van Buren High School. They will be relocating to
Centerville in the near future.
